Scope and editorial responsibility

Pasifika AI is a free AI-assisted research and synthesis service focused on Pacific cultures and languages. It organises published information and links to its sources. It does not speak for any people, institution or customary authority.

Answers may remain incomplete, outdated or wrong despite the controls applied. Consult the primary source before acting. The service is not legal, medical, financial, administrative or immigration advice.

Intellectual property and cultural heritage

The Pasifika AI brand, interface and original content are protected. Cited documents, marks, databases and media remain their owners’ property. No rights are claimed over the languages, knowledge or heritage of Pacific peoples. Restrictions expressed by legitimate custodians take precedence over the technical ability to process that knowledge.

Security, privacy and governance

Proportionate controls include encrypted communications, server-side secrets, abuse prevention, functional separation, minimal retention, source controls, dependency review and an incident-handling process. Processing, recipients and retention are described in the privacy policy.

Law and reporting

New Zealand law applies subject to mandatory protections available to the user. Legal requests, security reports and disputes should be sent to the official contact so they can be recorded, assessed and addressed.
