The documented starting point
The ADCK’s own history links the Tjibaou Cultural Centre to the recognition of living Kanak culture. The centre opened in 1998 and brings together contemporary art, exhibitions, performance spaces and a specialised media library. Its architectural project was developed through collaboration between the ADCK and Renzo Piano.
